Try Sled Hockey for Free!

Mass General Brigham’s Spaulding Rehabilitation Adaptive Sports Centers is hosting a “Try Sled Hockey for Free” event on Saturday, October 3, giving girls and boys ages 4–17, of all abilities, the opportunity to experience sled hockey at  Warrior Ice Arena, the official Boston Bruins practice facility.

The event is designed especially for youth with disabilities who are interested in discovering a new adaptive sport. Participants will have the chance to get on the ice, learn the basics of sled hockey, and experience the sport in a welcoming and supportive environment. Equipment, coaching, and on-site support will be provided by Spaulding Adaptive Sports Centers.

In addition to the on-ice event, Spaulding Adaptive Sports Centers will host an information table from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., where anyone interested in adaptive sports can learn more about upcoming fall and winter adaptive sports programs and opportunities for to stay active throughout the year.
