Try Special Hockey For Free! This 2-day event is open to individuals of all ages with developmental and/or physical disabilities who would like to participate in ice hockey in an adaptive envirnonment. Hockey helps individuals develop positive characteristics like dependability, self-reliance, confidence, concentration, and personal accountability. There will be many experienced coaches and volunteers at the event to help with any needs the participants may have. The event will have 3 sessions so it is much like a camp - 3 on-ice sessions, snacks, and lots of instruction. Must have a helmet with facemask. Gloves and shin guards are highly recommended. A hockey stick will be provided.
Saturday 7/26 - 2 ice sessions - one in early afternoon and one in late afternoon. Lunch or snack will be provided
Sunday 7/27 - one morning ice session
