Q:  What to wear? What equipment does my child need?
A:  Bring your bike (or other) helmet and your snow gloves.  Snow pants are great for the newest skaters.
If you have hockey gear, perfect! If you do not, just bring an extra layer for your child.

Q: What about skates
A: If your child has skates, bring them.
New to skating? No problem. Skate rentals are free at Try Hockey For Free!
Skates can feel different than sneakers. An extra pair of socks can equip your child for comfort.

Q: Do we need to have a hockey stick to participate?
A: If your child has a hockey stick, please bring it to the event. If you do not yet have a hockey stick, we are happy to provide a loaner for the day.

Q: Should parents plan to skate?
A: Mom and Dad get to take a breather for this one! Sit back and snap some cool photos as the very best area hockey coaches and "big kid" players work alongside your aspiring hockey pro. This event is for registered children, aged 4 -9; Parents and sibs will not be on the ice.
