Try Hockey For Free is a fantastic event where your young girls can experience their FIRST on-ice hockey adventure! With the incredible rise in girls' hockey—participation has surged by over 30% in the last decade—there’s never been a better time for girls to join this amazing sport! We’ll have plenty of coaches on hand to create a fun, safe, and exhilarating environment for your daughters to try out the greatest sport on Earth.

Skaters will get the chance to learn the basic skills of youth hockey and enjoy their first game. This event is particularly important for introducing new players, especially girls, to the sport. Girls' hockey is growing rapidly, and we want your daughters to be part of this exciting journey. I encourage you to reach out to friends, neighbors, family, co-workers, and community groups to help spread the word!

CHECK-IN: Please plan to arrive at the rink at least 30 minutes before the event's start time for check-in and to get fitted with equipment.

What to Bring: If you have access to equipment, please bring it along. If not, you will need to bring:

• A loose-fitting pair of sweatpants or snow pants
• A pair of gloves (they don’t need to be hockey gloves—mittens are fine)
• A helmet
• A Smile
